Hangin' Tough - s/t 7" - Pressing Info

GIHC.003 - Hangin' Tough - s/t 7"

Released Oct. 20th at the Edge Day Show in Braunschweig.

We originally intended to press 300 copies of this 7". 200 on white and 100 on black. Due to a mistake at the pressing plant we ended up with a total of 533 copies.

I personally checked all the 533 copies we received to see if there were any really sticking out and the following is what I found:

Quite a few black vinyl copies (69) do have minimal 'flaws' that people might not be too thrilled about having on a new record they just bought so we decided to turn those into Promo copies and since we got more records than we actually wanted and therefore had to make more covers anyway we decided to have extra Promo Covers made for these. The 'flaw' is either something that looks like a tiny bit of paper pressed into the vinyl or surface scratches probably from being handled at the pressing plant. Those are still good to play but I would hate to pay for one of these so we don't want you to.

Most white copies are regarded as dirty white because they have more or less black mixed in. Only 3 are considered to be white with no traces of black to be found at all and 8 have enough black mixed in to be regarded as transitional (by me). Of course it's a sliding scale and some might have decided differently on one or the other copy but these are the numbers I came up with. To make it easier for you to know what you got I asked my wife to mark the inner sleeves accordingly which she gladly did. With numbers being ridiculously low the copies were spread among us, the band and friends and actually never were for sale. I would even feel bad to charge someone extra for one of those since it's a sliding scale (as I mentioned before) and therefore the utmost nerdism. So you should consider your collection complete even if you only do have a regular dirty white copy. Everything else would be insane.

So here's the complete nerdario breakdown of the pressing:

3 white copies SOLD OUT!
8 transition copies SOLD OUT!

!!!REVIEWS!!!

Stageload Jan. 7th 2014

“I’m just like you, just with better shoes. Because i wear my heart on my feet“. Sneaker und Hardcore? Geht immer! In den nachfolgenden Songs geht es dann beinahe ausnahmslos um das Straight Edge – Dasein sowie dessen way of life. “This is a struggle we will always win. So fuck you!

Due to the flatpress crapping out on us before we could print the black covers these are not available yet. We have to replace the machine first since it's too expensive to have it repaired. Might take a while. Sorry.

REVIEWS:
